Volunteer Coordinator for Home Exercise Programme (Healthwise Service)

Age UK Kensington & Chelsea is currently recruiting for a Volunteer Coordinator for its Home Exercise Programme to manage and deliver its Exercise At Home programme. The programme aims to enable older people with chronic conditions to become more active, as well as to help people who have temporarily lost mobility to regain their confidence when walking.
The focus of this role is to recruit, train and support volunteers to match with older people in the community and enable them to deliver a high quality support service. The right candidate will have an in depth knowledge of good practice in managing volunteers, and a level of experience around designing and delivering training
The successful applicant will have experience of working in a voluntary or community based health or social care setting. They will be excellent communicators and be able to build a rapport with a wide range of people.

Hours: 35 hours per week, including occasional evening and weekend work for which time in lieu will be given

Salary: £23,000 - £25,000 (dependent on experience) + up to 3% matched pension contribution
